Job summary

Kongsberg Automotive AS is seeking an Indirect Inventory Specialist to ensure availability of spare parts, consumables, and services that keep operations running smoothly. You will collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to manage inventory levels, coordinate purchases, and support facility compliance activities, with a focus on process efficiency and cost savings.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, inventory management, warehousing, or similar is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Basic SAP knowledge would be beneficial.
• Fluent English communications required.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of spare parts, consumables, equipment, and external services.
• Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to support uninterrupted operations.
• Coordinate deliveries, warehouse transfers, and supplier communication.
• Process purchase requests and purchase orders in company systems.
• Verify and manage supplier invoices and related documentation.
• Support facility compliance activities, inspections, and maintenance schedules.
• Maintain accurate inventory and purchasing records.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve supply and inventory processes.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process optimization.
