Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Kraków offers an internship to design and develop software for a Network Management System within an international, interdisciplinary team. You will contribute to reliable network solutions and learn the full software stack.

You will build backend features with Kotlin/Java and frontend with TypeScript/React, gain Linux experience, and participate in an agile R&D cycle. Strong English communication and a collaborative mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in IT, SW engineering, telecom, CS or electronics.
• Knowledge of backend JVM technologies (Kotlin/Java).
• Knowledge of Web Development with TypeScript + React basics.
• Experience with Linux-based OS is a plus.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL or other RDBMS is advantageous.
• Knowledge of basic computer networks is a plus.
• Strong English communication and collaborative mindset.

Your background

• A university student pursuing a degree in IT, SW engineering, Telecommunication, Computer Science, Electronics or similar area.
• Knowledge in backend development using JVM technologies (Kotlin/Java).
• Knowledge of basic principles in Web Development using Typescript + React.
• Practical experience with Linux-based operating system is an advantage.
• Nice to have experience using Relational Database Management Systems (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Knowledge of fundamental concepts in computer networks is an advantage.
• A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, willingness to learn and strong communication skills with excellent spoken and written English.
