Hitachi Energy Kraków invites you to join a team shaping AI-assisted test automation for mission-critical communication systems. You will tackle real-world challenges at the intersection of Python, software testing, and Artificial Intelligence, gaining hands-on experience with modern engineering tools and industrial-scale solutions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 year student of Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Data Science, Telecommunications, or related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Familiarity with software development practices and version control (Git).
• Basic understanding of software testing principles and test automation concepts.
• Ability to work independently on research-oriented tasks with a solution-focused mindset.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand the existing pytest-based test automation ecosystem.
• Explore and use pytest libraries for automated testing.
• Research and evaluate AI-assisted software and test development approaches.
• Develop a proof-of-concept for knowledge retrieval from tests, documentation, and engineering assets.
• Design and prototype integrations supporting AI-assisted engineering workflows.
• Build and validate an AI-assisted workflow for generating pytest test cases.
• Evaluate solution effectiveness using quality, maintainability, and productivity metrics.
• Document results and recommend future improvements for AI-supported test automation.

How You’ll Make An Impact
