Job summary

EPAM Systems (Poland) sp. z o.o. poszukuje Lead AI Data Software Engineer do zespołu w Data Competency Center. Dołączysz do zespołu ekspertów odpowiedzialnych za projekty AI, Big Data i inżynierię danych, prowadząc zespoły inżynerskie w łączeniu technologii z potrzebami biznesu.

Qualifications

• 5+ lat doświadczenia w tworzeniu oprogramowania z wykorzystaniem technologii związanych z Data Software Engineering.
• Zaawansowana znajomość Pythona.
• Bogate doświadczenie w Spark i Databricks.
• Doświadczenie z platform chmurowych (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Doświadczenie w używaniu narzędzi AI jak Claude Code, Github Copilot, Cursor.
• Doświadczenie w zarządzaniu małymi i średnimi zespołami w metodologii Agile.
• Zdolność tłumaczenia rozwiązań technicznych na język biznesowy.
• Stopień Bachelor z Computer Science, Mathematics lub pokrewnym.
• Wybitne umiejętności komunikacyjne w języku angielskim (B2+).

• Develop and implement Cloud/On-Premise/Hybrid solutions using best-in-class data frameworks
• Drive next waves of AI adoption

• Perform detailed analysis of business problems and technical environments to design solutions

Job description

Nasze wymagania:

• 5+ years of experience in software development with Data Software Engineering technologies
• Advanced knowledge of Python
• Vast experience with Spark and Databricks
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with and confidence in using AI development tools eg. Claude Code, Github Copilot, Cursor
• Experience in managing small and mid-size teams using Agile methodology
• Ability to explain technological solutions in a simple, business-oriented way
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English (B2+)

Mile widziane:

• Experience in building Agentic AI solutions
• Preferred experience with message queues, specifically Kafka, and working with large data transfer applications/middleware
• Production experience in search technologies such as Solr, OpenSearch, or Lucene is highly advantageous
• Knowledge of Scala or Java
