Job summary

Philip Morris International in Kraków invites students or recent graduates to a paid IT Operations internship. The role requires 30+ hours per week and supports the IT Operation SMO Team in day-to-day service operations and lifecycle activities.

You will help prepare runbooks, analyze incidents and KPIs, and assist with onboarding and reporting. The program includes internal training platforms, language learning, and flexible study-friendly hours.

Qualifications

• University students or graduates up to 1 year after graduation in IT-related fields.
• Candidates available for 30+ hours per week.
• Strong Excel skills; knowledge of Power BI and JIRA is an advantage.
• Proficient written and spoken English.
• Basic knowledge of data analysis, reporting, and software testing.

Responsibilities

• Support Service Managers in day-to-day service operations and lifecycle activities (incident, problem, audit, resilience, governance).
• Prepare and maintain service documentation (runbooks, escalation matrices, knowledge articles).
• Analyze incidents, service performance, and KPI adherence to identify risks and improvements.
• Assist with application onboarding, migrations, decommissioning, and operational reporting.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• University students or University graduates with a Bachelor’s or Master's degree up to 1 year after graduation, preferably with an academic background in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Informatics, Management, Engineering, Data Analytics, or other fields related to IT operations, service management, or business process improvement.
• Candidates available for 30+ hours per week
• Communicative, proactive, well-organized candidates with analytical and computer skills, including Microsoft Office tools (strong Excel). Knowledge of Power BI and JIRA is an advantage.
• Problem solver, resourceful, who learns on the fly
• Candidates with a proficient level of both written and spoken English
• Basic knowledge of data analysis, reporting, and software testing
• Quick learners with good interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
• Individuals be able to prioritize responsibilities and present attention to details
• Goal-oriented person with very good analytical and communication skills
• Candidate able to work independently under tight schedules
• Other assets would be basic understanding of service management, ITIL

HOW WILL YOU MAKE HISTORY WITH US?

• Support Service Managers in day-to-day service operations and service lifecycle activities, including incident, problem, audit, resilience, and governance-related follow-ups.
• Prepare and maintain service documentation such as runbooks, escalation matrices, knowledge articles, application information and support models.
• Analyze incidents, service performance, SLA/KPI adherence, and reporting data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Assist with application onboarding, migrations, decommissioning, transition activities, and operational reporting using.

A condition ofcommencingthe internship with a chosen candidate is that the candidatepossessesvalid documents authorizing legal residence and work in the territory of the Republic of Poland for the entire duration of the internship.
