Job summary

Overview

We are seeking a candidate to support the Global Lead for Energy Management in creating a robust ISO 50001 aligned energy management system, building consensus with regional teams, and driving decarbonization initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop an energy management system in line with ISO 50001 and engage regional teams to build consensus.
• Assist site and project teams in creating comprehensive energy management plans and perform measurement and verification assessments to demonstrate initiative effectiveness.
• Contribute to the evaluation of environmental risk management within the bank’s risk framework and support the design and execution of mitigation plans.
• Coordinate Energy Management Governance regional working groups focused on decarbonization and meter data coverage of utility operations, ensuring progress aligns with agreed timelines and milestones.
• Analyse and calculate utility consumption to aid regional teams with consumption forecasts and renewable energy certificate purchases.

Qualifications

• Awareness of global sustainability and decarbonization trends, preferably within the financial sector.
• Interest in developing a deep understanding of energy management systems, particularly ISO 50001 standards.
• Ability to identify inefficient or ineffective work practices and implement improvements.
• Proficiency in analysing data and drawing insightful conclusions to support specified objectives.
• Strong collaboration skills with a range of stakeholders and ability to build consensus through clear, data‑driven reports and recommendations.
