Job summary

Intel Corporation in Gdańsk, Poland, seeks an Intern C++ Developer for Graphics Compute Driver (AI, HPC). You will work on open-source compute runtime for Level Zero/OpenCL, developing features in modern C++ and assisting in driver enablement for upcoming GPUs.

You will have a mentor, work in a hybrid model, and gain insights into production GPU driver workflows from API calls to hardware. Strong English and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Pursuing second to fourth year of study with student status.
• No professional experience required.
• Working knowledge of C++ is essential.
• Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux.
• Willingness to learn quickly and adapt.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Nice to have: Python scripting.
• Experience with 3D graphics or GPGPU APIs (OpenCL/CUDA/Direct3D/Vulkan/SYCL/Level Zero) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop new driver features in modern C++ for Intel GPUs.
• Contribute to enabling upcoming GPUs, often pre-silicon.
• Debug and fix issues reported by teams and the open-source community.
• Write unit tests; participate in code reviews and CI.
• Suggest improvements to tools and workflows.
• Learn how production GPU drivers work from API to hardware.
