Job summary

Intel in Gdansk, Poland is seeking a Software Engineering student to join the team developing the open-source compute driver for Level Zero and OpenCL. You will work on modern C++ features, contribute to GPU enablement, and debug issues for internal teams and the open-source community in a fast, Agile environment.

This internship role is hybrid, supports students in the second to fourth year, and offers practical learning with real-world impact on graphics technology and tooling.

Qualifications

• Pursuing second/third/fourth year of study and able to maintain student status for at least 1 year.
• No professional experience required.
• C++ knowledge required.
• Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
• Desire and ability to learn quickly.
• Good verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop new driver features in modern C++.
• Assist in enabling upcoming Intel GPUs, sometimes before silicon is available.
• Debug and fix issues reported by internal teams and the open-source community.
• Write unit tests and participate in code reviews and CI.
• Propose and implement improvements to tools and workflows.
