The position involves responsibility for expanding the company's client portfolio, developing and implementing transport and logistics solutions, coordinating transportation operations, ensuring operational profitability, and fulfilling contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

• Develop and expand sales of international rail freight and intermodal transportation services.
• Identify and acquire new clients while maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing customers.
• Conduct commercial negotiations and agree on terms and conditions of cooperation.
• Prepare commercial quotations, calculate transportation costs, and assess the profitability of transport operations.
• Develop tailored transport and logistics solutions based on customer requirements.
• Analyse market conditions, identify business opportunities, and explore potential areas for business development.

Operations Management

• Organise and coordinate international intermodal freight transportation.
• Plan transportation routes and ensure effective coordination among all parties involved in the transport process.
• Establish and manage cooperation with railway undertakings, terminal operators, and intermodal transport operators.
• Monitor the execution of transport orders, ensuring compliance with delivery schedules and contractual obligations.
• Ensure operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness of transportation services.
• Resolve operational issues arising during the execution of transport orders.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven professional experience in international rail freight or intermodal transportation.
• Experience in sales of transport and logistics services, including commercial negotiations with corporate clients.
• Practical knowledge of international freight transportation, pricing structures, and transport logistics.
• Strong understanding of the transport and logistics markets in Poland and other European Union countries.
• Experience working with railway undertakings, intermodal operators, and terminal operators.
• Skills in commercial planning, operational management, and financial performance monitoring.
• Professional working proficiency in Polish, English, and Ukrainian.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in developing new transport corridors, organising container transportation, and implementing international logistics projects will be considered an advantage.
