Job summary

METRO Global Solution Center Szczecin is seeking an experienced Intercompany Team Lead to supervise the partner settlements and intercompany invoicing, ensuring accuracy and timely closing processes. This role requires leadership in a dynamic, international environment.

You will drive process improvements, provide guidance to the team, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure operational excellence. A hybrid work setup is available, with regular office presence recommended to support

Qualifications

• University degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
• Proven experience in a similar intercompany/leadership role.
• Experience in leading or managing a team.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Experience in managing finance and accounting processes.
• SAP knowledge (FI/CO modules) — a strong plus.
• Experience in an international, multicultural environment (preferably SSC/BPO).
• Strong MS Office skills, especially in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily operations of the Intercompany team (partner settlements & intercompany invoicing).
• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of all performed activities and closing processes (Intercompany reconciliation).
• Establish solid understanding of end-to-end accounting processes within area.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members in complex accounting matters.
• Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and operational excellence.
• Due to the people management responsibilities and the nature of the role, regular presence in the office will be beneficial to ensure effective collaboration and team support.
