Job summary

METRO Global Solution Center Szczecin is seeking a competent SAP S/4HANA FICO functional analyst to provide end-user support, analyze incidents, and implement functional improvements. You will collaborate with local finance teams, IT, and project teams to ensure accurate configurations and smooth system changes.

The role requires 2-4 years of SAP FICO experience, strong analytical skills, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC in Finance (FICO)
• Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA FICO and finance & accounting processes
• Ability to analyze functional issues and identify root causes
• Basic knowledge of SAP configuration/customizing
• Understanding of SAP integrations with other business systems

Responsibilities

• Provide functional support for issues raised by SAP S/4HANA FICO users
• Analyze incidents, service requests, and system issues reported by end users
• Resolve standard functional issues independently when possible
• Escalate unresolved issues with complete analysis and documentation
• Perform root cause analysis involving SAP configuration and business processes
• Define business requirements for developments and enhancements
• Communicate with business users, finance teams, technical teams, and project owners during issue analysis
• Perform simple SAP customizing/configuration within approved scope
• Support UAT for system enhancements and changes
• Prepare user documentation and knowledge articles for new features
• Deliver user training related to new functionalities
• Monitor recurring issues and identify process improvements
• Participate in SAP projects as a functional representative
• Ensure compliance with internal processes and change management procedures

Job Description

Your main areas of responsibility in this position will include:

• Provide functional support for issue raised by SAP S/4HANA FICO users
• Analyze incidents, service requests, and system issues reported by end users
• Resolve standard functional issues independently whenever possible
• Escalate unresolved issues to higher support levels with complete analysis and documentation
• Perform root cause analysis involving SAP configuration, business processes, and integrations
• Define business requirements for developments and enhancements (Post Design Change)
• Communicate with business users, local finance teams, technical teams, project teams, and owners of integrated systems during issue analysis
• Perform simple SAP customizing/configuration changes within approved scope
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements, configuration changes, and custom developments
• Prepare user documentation, work instructions, and knowledge articles for new features and solutions
• Deliver user training and knowledge transfer related to new functionalities or system changes
• Monitor recurring issues and identify opportunities for process improvements
• Participate in SAP projects as a functional representative
• Ensure compliance with internal processes and change management procedures.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience working with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC in Finance (FICO)
• Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA FICO and finance & accounting business processes
• Ability to analyze functional issues and identify root causes
• Basic knowledge of SAP configuration/customizing
• Understanding of SAP integrations with other business systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Customer-oriented mindset
• Fluency in English (B2 / C1).
