Job summary

Nitrogen is seeking a Lead Product Manager to own Nitrogen's Insurance Center and related institutional products. You will manage the vision, roadmap, and lifecycle, collaborating with Engineering, Design, and GTM teams to deliver market-ready solutions that are simple, differentiated, and advisor-friendly.

• Expert-level fluency in how insurance is manufactured, distributed, and compensated.
• Annuity and retirement-income expertise.
• Strong life insurance fluency — product design, underwriting, and advisor use cases.
• Exposure to how financial advisors and practices operate; WealthTech experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Owns the product vision and roadmap for Nitrogen's Insurance Center and suite of institutional and ecosystem products.
• Drives the full product lifecycle — conceptualization, prioritization, execution, go-to-market collaboration, and post-launch iteration.
• Maintains industry-leading depth in relevant planning domains, trusted by advisors, partners, and the financial media.
• Translates complex planning concepts into simple, intuitive product experiences for advisors and end clients.
• Represents Nitrogen externally as a domain authority across conversations, stages, podcasts, and media.
• Builds a continuous feedback loop with customers, prospects, and industry experts to inform direction.
• Manages and develops Product Owners, setting expectations and growth opportunities.
• Partners with Engineering, Design, and GTM teams to ship on cadence and land in market.
• Makes rigorous, evidence-based prioritization decisions and communicates them clearly.
• Maintains knowledge of regulatory, tax-code, and insurance landscape and anticipates changes.
