Job summary

Assured Insurance Technologies is seeking a Product SME to lead an end-to-end evaluation of the auto claims process, from FNOL to resolution. You will map decisions, data flows, and documentation, identifying automation opportunities and improvements.

Sitting at the intersection of Product, Engineering and Analytics, the role requires cross-functional collaboration to drive measurable impact on cycle time, accuracy, customer experience, and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working at a major carrier as a claims adjuster.
• Deep understanding of the end-to-end auto claims process within P&C.
• Experience working closely with product, engineering, data, and operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct an end-to-end review of the auto claims lifecycle: FNOL to closure, identify friction points and opportunities for automation.
• Understand how claims decisions are made and supported by data: what information adjusters rely on, how it is structured, and where gaps exist.
• Identify breakdowns in claim workflow and documentation affecting outcomes and experience.
• Own the integrity of core claims data across systems and ensure consistent reflection across views.
• Define standards for claims quality, documentation rigor, and alignment between findings and financial outcomes.
• Partner cross-functionally to resolve systemic issues with Product, Engineering, Claims Operations, Analytics, and Leadership.
• Translate insights into measurable product improvements that reduce cycle time and improve loss ratio.
• Influence roadmap decisions with financial and operational context across indemnity spend and customer retention.
• Serve as the internal SME on auto claims lifecycle and guide best practices.
• Align teams around consistent process standards across Claims, Product, Engineering, Finance, and Customer Success.
• Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
