Job summary

Philip Morris International in Kraków invites undergraduates or recent graduates to join our MDC Engineers team for a 6-month internship undertaking physical prototyping tests, virtual modelling and simulations of new products and materials.

You will apply digital tools, explore AI applications in modelling, and collaborate on global projects within an international environment. The role offers flexible hours and potential extension, with a focus on data-driven improvements and hands-on learning.

Responsibilities

• Support MDC Engineers in organizing and conducting physical prototyping tests of new products and materials (including material characterization)
• Prepare virtual models of products, processes and relevant simulations (Ansys will be an advantage)
• Find application of digital tools (photogrammetry, sensors, 3D scanning) in product modelling and simulation
• Develop Artificial Intelligence application in modelling and simulation
• Work on global projects in international work environment
• Value stream mapping (VSM) of MDC process and it’s continuous improvement
• Continuous development of end-to-end process management tool and it’s automatization (Excel and VBA)
