Job summary

ZF Group in Częstochowa seeks an Inbound Logistics Planner to manage inventory, coordinate MRP with suppliers across Asia and Europe, and ensure visibility of releases via SAP and web portals. This role supports the ADAS & HPC business in a growth phase.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Logistics with 3+ years automotive sector experience, strong MRP SAP skills, and MS Office proficiency. Hybrid work setup in Poland is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related field is required.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience, preferably in the automotive industry or automotive electronics market.
• Planning logistics experience with suppliers in Asia and Europe.
• MRP SAP proficiency and strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor proper inventory levels to meet monthly targets and coordinate with suppliers to reduce excess stock.
• Identify and investigate call-offs volume variations and ensure MRP parameters align with corporate directives.
• Coordinate MRP reset activities with sites for key suppliers.
• Ensure call-offs are visible to key suppliers via EDI or Supply web portal for at least 12 months.
• Monitor phase-in/out of components to avoid shortages or obsolescence.
• Coordinate activities with sites, commodity and suppliers for special projects (Spot PO, dual sourcing, Last time buy).
• Be the first point of contact at sites to manage shortages and execute recovery plans with suppliers and internal teams.
• Notify suppliers if increases occur with inadequate lead time and trigger escalation if needed.
• Follow up on cost recovery activities related to Supply Chain topics.

The business unit is planned for divestiture, creating a unique opportunity to help shape the future of next-generation driver assistance and high-performance computing technologies.

What you can look forward to an Inbound Logistics Planner (f/m/d):

• Monitor proper inventory level to meet monthly inventory targets. Works with suppliers to reduce excess or obsolete stock.
• Identify and investigate call offs volume variations and ensure sites MRP planning parameters aligned with Corp directives with sites.
• Coordinate MRP re-set activities with sites for key suppliers.
• Ensure call offs visible to key suppliers (EDI or Supply web portal) at least 12 months.
• Monitor sites phase in/out components call offs to avoid shortages or obsolescence.
• Coordinate activities with sites, commodity and suppliers related with “special projects” Spot PO, dual sourcing, Last time buy.
• Sites first point of contact to manage shortages and carry out recovery plans with suppliers, commodity, electronics house of competence and sites and support escalation process for recovery plans.
• Notify Suppliers if increases are made without adequate lead time (each supplier terms and conditions). Ensure that supplier can meet the new release increases, if supplier can’t meet releases execute escalation process.
• Follow up cost recovery activities related to Supply Chain topics with suppliers, commodity and sites.

Profile description:

Your profile as a an Inbound Logistics Planner (f/m/d):

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related technical/engineering field is required.
• English, able to communicate effectively in oral and written forms.
• At least 3 years of professional experience, preferably in the automotive industry or the automotive electronics market.
• Planning logistics experience with suppliers in Asia and Europe.
• MRP SAP proficient knowledge.
• Competent with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc).
