Job summary

ERGO Technology & Services S.A. in Warsaw seeks a Quality Assurance Expert to review IFRS and Solvency II reporting, validate documentation, and support subsidiaries with technical accounting matters.

You will provide methodological guidance on IFRS, act as liaison with external and Group auditors, and lead accounting improvement projects, including IFRS 17 initiatives. The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, ability to travel internationally, and a collaborative approach

Qualifications

• Fluency in English at C1 level is required.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS standards, preferably IFRS 17.
• Experience with Solvency II reporting and Group reporting processes.
• Proficient SAP SEM-BCS system knowledge is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Review reconciliation of local financial statements to IFRS and Solvency II, ensuring compliance with manuals and accurate documentation.
• Support national and international subsidiaries on technical accounting matters and reporting package requirements.
• Provide methodological expertise in IFRS and Solvency II and act as primary contact for auditors.
• Lead and participate in IFRS 17 related finance transformations and cross-divisional initiatives.
• Collaborate on M&A activities and post-merger integration to align accounting policies and reporting.
