Job summary

ERGO Technology & Services S.A. (ET&S) in Warsaw seeks a finance accounting expert to ensure IFRS and Solvency II compliance. You will advise subsidiaries, perform QA on reporting data, and drive IFRS 17 initiatives across the group.

Ideal candidates have IFRS knowledge, SAP SEM-BCS proficiency, and willingness to travel internationally. This role supports cross-border finance projects from Warsaw with flexible remote options.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English (C1)
• University degree in Economics, Business Mathematics, Accounting or related field
• Excellent knowledge of IFRS standards (preferable IFRS 17) and Solvency II reporting requirements
• SAP knowledge (especially SEM-BCS)
• Specialized knowledge in actuarial science, taxes, pension obligations or capital investments is advantageous
• Strong analytical skills and ability to present complex accounting issues
• High degree of independence and responsibility
• Ability to travel to international entities (short visits and longer trips)

Responsibilities

• Review reconciliation of local financial statements to IFRS and Solvency II requirements
• Support national and international subsidiaries on technical accounting matters and reporting
• Provide methodological expertise in IFRS and Solvency II reporting and QA of Group data
• Lead and participate in accounting and finance transformation projects, IFRS 17 initiatives
• Collaborate on mergers and acquisitions and post-merger integration activities
