Job summary

Hitachi Vantara is seeking an Identity and Access Management Technical Manager to lead a team of IAM administrators and engineers focused on on-prem Active Directory and Privileged Access Management. This role reports to the Senior Director of IAM under the CISO.

The position blends management with hands-on technical work and requires strong leadership, collaboration with security peers, and the ability to implement an automation-first IAM stack across large enterprise deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience with designing and operating on-prem AD infrastructure.
• Hands-on PAM administration and governance.
• Familiarity with ITSM processes (Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management).

Responsibilities

• Design multi-year roadmap to mature AD and PAM.
• Ensure uptime and security across AD and PAM.
• Lead developers and engineers for AD and PAM platforms.
• Drive automation-first IAM stack.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and business leaders.
• Mentor junior IAM staff.
