Job summary

Hitachi Digital in Warszawa seeks a Sr. Director of Identity & Access Management to lead the IAM program across the enterprise, ensuring SSO, MFA, PAM, SASE, CIAM and Active Directory run securely at scale.

You will guide the Chief Information Security Officer, mentor an international team, and shape identity governance while delivering a robust, risk-aware access strategy in a fast-moving digital environment.

Qualifications

• Expert level understanding of trends in the identity and access management industry.
• Excellent soft skills; strong people orientation and collaboration.
• 10+ years in Cybersecurity and 5+ years managing IAM programs.
• Expert level experience with OKTA; SSO integrations and identity architecture in large enterprises.
• Strong familiarity with PAM, SSO, MFA, and Zero Trust / SASE; ability to design supporting systems.
• Fluency in cybersecurity terminology and risk assessment translation.
• Excellent written and oral English communication.
• Self-driven; able to adapt to new tech and fast-moving large-scale projects with tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail and quality are essential.
• Willingness to work in an international team across Americas, Europe, and Asia.

Meet our Team. We are the Hitachi Digital Global Information Security team, and we are passionate advocates of Information Security! We have the primary responsibility for safeguarding the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data, systems, and information in the enterprise.

We ensure that corporate systems are secure, and we make sure that products that we deliver to customers are free of security flaws and vulnerabilities. We are seeking Sr. Director of Identity and Access Management. Most relevant to this role, we seek to ensure that the right people get access to the right resources at the right time, in a secure fashion.

The Role

The Sr. Director of Identity & Access Management will support and advise the Chief Information Security Officer on all matters related to ensuring the security of identities across the enterprise and how those identities gain access to key resources. The successful candidate will lead the IAM program for the company, ensuring that key IAM platforms are operating efficiently and effectively including SSO, MFA, PAM, SASE, CIAM, Active Directory, and other adjacent capabilities. This IAM leader will also lead an international team to ensure the uptime of these systems.

What You’ll Bring

• Expert level understanding of trends in the industry for identity and access management
• Excellent soft skills are a must, we are looking for a strong people person, who is thoughtful in his or her approach to working on teams and working with people on other teams
• 10+ of experience working in Cybersecurity, and 5+ years of experience managing IAM programs
• Expert level technical experience with OKTA is required, including expert level experience with SSO integrations and design and architecture with identity systems in a large enterprise (technical proficiency will be assessed in the recruiting process)
• Strong familiarity with the concepts of PAM, SSO, MFA, and Zero Trust / SASE, and ability to design systems to accomplish these controls and concepts
• A fluency in the language of cybersecurity. The ability to understand technical concepts and translate them to an assessment of risk
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• Self-driven with an ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and variable in a dynamic and fast moving large scale project with tight deadline
• Attention to detail and quality is an absolute must
• Willingness to work in an international team, with project meetings several times a week in odd hours to support the Americas, Europe and Asia
