Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a skilled Technical Buyer to support engineering and manufacturing projects in Kraków. You will manage technical procurement activities, ensuring components meet specifications, and collaborate across teams in a hybrid work setting.

Responsibilities include BOM maintenance, RFQ standardization, supplier evaluation, and cost optimization. Strong reading of technical drawings and MS Excel skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in procurement within manufacturing or engineering
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and dimensional tolerances
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, welding/steel structures, and assembly
• Fluent English for business and technical communication
• Polish language skills and residency in Poland are required

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) for production and commercial components
• Manage and standardize the RFQ process
• Source, evaluate, and select suppliers
• Coordinate purchase orders
• Monitor delivery schedules and quality
• Handle supplier claims when required
• Negotiate commercial terms and drive cost optimization for components and subcontracted manufacturing services
• Conduct market research and develop supplier/manufacturing partner relationships
