Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Supplier Engineer to collaborate across the organization and work with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost targets are met. You will coach suppliers through the lifecycle from selection to production and track KPI performance to prevent issues.

The role is hybrid with flexible hours, requiring English and German proficiency, and 25% travel. You will work with Quality, Procurement, and project teams to optimize processes and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or comparable qualification.
• 6+ years of experience in supplier quality, purchasing or quality management.
• Strong knowledge of quality tools (FMEA, SPC, CpK, 8D) and lean manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and approve preferred suppliers with Quality & Procurement teams.
• Qualification of suppliers, process & product per FAQP program.
• Ensure FAQP topics are covered and actions tracked in project team.
• Assure production readiness and safe launch.
• Assist design and drawing reviews for quality standards.
