Billennium is hiring a Senior QA Engineer to join a greenfield project focused on debt servicing and receivables management. You will work with Developers and Product Owners in an Agile Kanban process to design tests for distributed systems, REST APIs, and event-driven workflows.

The role emphasizes automation, data validation with SQL/PostgreSQL, and CI/CD integration. You will leverage C#/.NET, xUnit, Shouldly, Cypress/Playwright, Postman/Apidog, Testcontainers and modern QA practices to

Qualifications

• 4-5+ years in QA, incl. 2+ years in a Senior QA role.
• Strong experience in test automation for UI, API and end-to-end testing.
• Hands-on testing of distributed systems and service integrations.
• Proficient in REST API testing and event-driven architectures.
• Practical C# and .NET experience with xUnit and Shouldly.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain test scenarios and cases across functional, regression, integration, and UAT.
• Test distributed services, REST APIs and event-driven messaging.
• Develop automated UI, API and end-to-end tests with Cypress/Playwright.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions).
• Collaborate with Developers and Product Owners in Kanban/Agile setup.
• Maintain test data and SQL/PostgreSQL validation; monitor quality metrics.
