Job summary

Mars Snacking, R&D Department in Poznań, is seeking a Factory Innovation Technologist - Packaging. The role collaborates with R&D, Supply and Commercial to guide complex process-change projects and ensure timely delivery in a hybrid work setting.

You will lead packaging/product development for new packs, recipes, and process technologies, apply Six Sigma tools, develop specs, run line trials, and hand over packs to secure product quality while driving factory innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with relevant internship or 3+ years in related industry, preferred.
• Alternatively, 5+ years manufacturing/quality experience.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the R&D Technical Project Lead for complex process change projects.
• Main contact for Packaging and Product Developers during design, development, and implementation of new packs, products, recipes, and process technologies.
• Using Six Sigma tools to evaluate risks and translate them into full-scale production changes.
• Developing process specifications and collaborating with engineering teams.
• Coordinating and executing line trials, validation, and start-up plans for changes.
• Leading the handover process for packs to ensure delivery of product quality.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement within our factories.
