Job summary

EY GDS Poland is seeking an Advanced Analyst in Global Trade to lead classification work, mentor analysts and ensure timely, accurate export/import classifications. The role demands 2–4 years in global trade, a Bachelor’s degree in international trade, and strong English skills.

Hybrid in Katowice, with a mix of in-office and remote work, within EY’s global delivery network. The team analyzes tariff classifications, FTAs, and regulatory requirements, collaborating across functions to deliver

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in Global Trade or related field.
• Bachelor’s Degree or undergraduate degree in international trade.
• Experience in Global Trade industry.
• Experience in determining tariff classifications per Harmonized Tariff System.
• Export Control classification knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive classification process and review analyst’s deliverables.
• Provide technical assistance to team members performing classifications.
• Track deadlines and due dates for all classifications.
• Demonstrate understanding of client’s industry, deadlines and needs.
• Provide in-depth analysis of controversial cases.
• Mentor staff and work with Manager.
• Develop relationships with clients and respond to questions.
• Provide regular feedback to team members and recognize outstanding work.
• Develop, mentor and supervise Analysts and Advanced Analysts.
