Job summary

Nordea Bank Norge ASA is seeking a hands-on Fullstack Developer to build and maintain the AI and API Platform Portal. The role focuses on backend and frontend development, REST API design, and AI-driven integrations within a self-service portal environment.

You will work across Spring Boot, React, and TypeScript, contributing to Kafka/Kong integrations and scalable platform capabilities in a hybrid setup in Helsinki or Gdańsk.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Development, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Professional experience as a fullstack, backend, or frontend developer.
• Must have Spring Boot, TypeScript, React, and Building and consuming REST APIs.
• Curious about AI: experience or interest in AI technologies and integrations with LLMs, MCPs, and A2A.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining backend and frontend components of the self-service portal, and implementing new capabilities.
• Building backend services using Spring Boot.
• Creating frontend features with React, TypeScript, and Material UI.
• Developing and troubleshooting integrations between the gateway and internal applications or external vendors.
• Designing and consuming REST APIs to ensure reliable, maintainable, and well-structured service interfaces.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality platform capabilities.
• Contributing to future AI-driven features and integrations within the platform, supporting LLMs, MCP, and A2A.
