Job summary

People More is looking for a DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes/Kafka/Airflow) for a hybrid role in Kraków. You will deliver a PoC and support its development into a scalable, enterprise-ready platform. You will build and maintain containerised platforms on Kubernetes and design automation workflows.

The role requires 5+ years in DevOps, hands-on Kubernetes, and experience with Kafka or Airflow. Strong Python/Java skills and fluent English and Polish are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform, SRE or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience in real-world delivery or operations.
• Experience with workload automation, Kafka or Airflow.
• Strong programming/scripting in Python or Java.
• Good English and Polish communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a PoC for an open-source workload automation solution and support its development into a scalable platform.
• Build and maintain containerised platforms and services on Kubernetes.
• Design, implement and operate automation and orchestration workflows, including scheduling and data pipelines.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Support engineering teams in applying DevOps best practices focusing on reliability and secure deployments.
• Collaborate with teams across global locations and time zones.
• Contribute to test automation, integration testing and release validation.
