Job summary

People More in Kraków is seeking a Kubernetes Platform Engineering Lead to own end-to-end platform engineering, lifecycle management and cross-team coordination. The role is hybrid (2–3 days in the Kraków office) and reports to the Global Engineering Team Lead.

You will build automation, APIs and tooling for infrastructure, drive reliability, dashboards and self-healing solutions, and lead a local team of about 5 engineers.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, containers and Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Experience with Kubernetes-native technologies such as Istio, Cilium and CSI solutions.
• Experience building infrastructure automation, APIs and CI/CD pipelines.
• Scripting/programming experience with Bash and Python or Golang.
• Experience with Jenkins and Ansible / Ansible Automation Platform (AAP).
• Experience with observability tools such as Splunk and Datadog.
• Experience with infrastructure lifecycle management and GitHub-based development workflows.
• Experience leading or coordinating an engineering/platform team.
• Very good English and Polish
• Ability to work from the Kraków office 2–3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end engineering and lifecycle management of the Kubernetes platform.
• Build automation, APIs and tooling for infrastructure and platform services.
• Improve platform reliability, performance and cluster/service upgrade processes.
• Monitor resource utilization and support capacity planning.
• Develop dashboards, monitoring and self-healing solutions.
• Support multiple software development teams using the platform.
• Participate in platform architecture, system design and infrastructure planning.
• Lead and support a local team of approximately 5 engineers.
• Coordinate workloads with the Global Engineering Team Lead.
• Participate in infrastructure changes outside standard business hours when required.
