STATE STREET CORPORATION's Charles River Development team in Poland seeks a senior database engineer to advance our distributed data platform. The role blends design, optimization, and collaboration to deliver scalable, reliable data solutions for the state-of-the-art investment platform.

You will design architectures, write complex SQL, ensure security, and work with engineering, SaaS operations, and product teams to drive performance and resiliency.

Qualifications

• Solid experience with RDBMS and distributed data platforms in enterprise applications.
• Strong SQL performance tuning and query optimization skills.
• Experience designing scalable, highly available databases and data models.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, highly available distributed database solutions.
• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts to support applications.
• Optimize performance through indexing, query optimization, and tuning.
• Monitor and maintain database health, security, and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data systems integration.
