Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Project Supplier Quality Lead to improve supplier performance for HVDC projects. You will define KPIs, plan audits, and manage third-party activities on site and in factories, driving quality and compliance across the supply chain.

Applicants should have proven supplier quality management experience, strong auditing skills, and the ability to lead corrective actions while coordinating with procurement, logistics, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Project Management, Quality Management, Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in Supplier Quality Management including audits.
• Experience in managing non-conformities and corrective actions.
• Ability to communicate in English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Improve the quality of internal and external suppliers for HVDC projects.
• Define KPIs to measure supplier quality performance.
• Plan and schedule supplier audits, inspections, and surveillance activities.
• Handle third parties on site and in factories, including RFQ packages and budget control.
• Record and manage findings and non-conformities from audits and inspections.
• Monitor supplier performance against quality standards and implement corrective actions.
• Lead RCA (PSR/8D) and document/report properly.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and engineering on quality plans.
• Participate in procurement gate reviews and supplier risk assessments.
• Provide training on quality requirements to suppliers and maintain quality documentation.
