Job summary
GE Grid Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer for planning, supervising and coordinating all systems engineering tasks for HVDC projects in Europe, including collaborations with German TSOs and international teams. You will drive requirements management, V&V planning, and lifecycle processes to ensure high quality deliverables.
The role involves traveling about 10% of time and working within a multi-disciplinary team to meet ambitious renewables targets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or similar.
- Extensive experience in Systems Engineering with requirements management, verification and validation.
- HVDC Power Transmission experience or similar field.
- Experience with IBM DOORS and PLM tools.
- Excellent communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Perform requirements analysis to support project needs.
- Translate stakeholder needs into verifiable system requirements.
- Allocate requirements across subsystems and owners.
- Develop and manage Verification & Validation Plans and Reports.
- Coordinate Verification & Validation activities across project phases.
- Ensure quality and consistency of engineering deliverables.
- Supervise systems engineering tasks to meet objectives.
- Uphold ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288:2015 life cycle processes.
