Job summary

GE Vernova Grid Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer for HVDC projects in Europe, focusing on planning, supervising, and coordinating all systems engineering tasks with internal and external teams. You will ensure requirements are clearly defined, traceable, and verified across subsystems, contributing to multi-country projects within a dynamic energy-transition context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a similar field.
• Extensive experience in Systems Engineering with hands-on requirements management, verification and validation.
• Experience with HVDC Power Transmission or similar field.
• Experience with IBM DOORS and PLM tools.
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Able to work in multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural teams.
• Willing to travel ~10% of working time.
• High integrity and accountability with a results-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth requirements analysis to support project needs.
• Gather stakeholder technical needs and translate into verifiable system requirements.
• Allocate system requirements across subsystems and owners.
• Develop and manage Verification & Validation Plans and Reports.
• Coordinate Verification & Validation activities across project phases.
• Ensure quality and consistency of systems engineering deliverables.
• Manage data communication within the requirements management database.
• Supervise and manage systems engineering tasks to meet objectives.
• Implement and uphold ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288:2015 lifecycle processes.
