Job summary

LKQ Europe, part of the LKQ Corporation, invites an experienced HR professional to join its European HR team in Katowice. The role blends strategic and operational HR across 21 countries, reporting to the European HR Business Partner.

It offers a flexible hybrid model with 3 days per week from home. As an HR Specialist Europe you will act as a first point of contact for day-to-day people matters, support HR processes, and collaborate with managers across the region on workforce insights,

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in an HR Advisor/Generalist role.
• Strong understanding of employee relations, performance management and lifecycle processes.
• Experience supporting managers in a business-facing HR role.
• Experience with HR data, reports and workforce analytics.
• Advanced Microsoft 365 skills including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for managers and employees on routine HR queries.
• Partner with HR leadership to deliver people priorities and HR strategies.
• Provide guidance on company policies, performance and employee relations.
• Coordinate performance reviews, talent reviews and succession planning.
• Prepare HR reports and analyse workforce data for insights.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and local HR teams on recruitment and onboarding.
• Support organisational design, change initiatives and project coordination.
• Prepare materials for leadership meetings and reviews.
• Follow up on engagement actions and people plans across functions.
