Job summary

Opera in Wrocław is seeking an experienced HR Specialist to support employees and managers across the lifecycle. You will handle onboarding, offboarding, guidance, and adherence to local law while collaborating with HR, Payroll and Finance teams.

The role requires solid HR expertise, a collaborative approach, and a service-oriented mindset to improve the employee experience and contribute to HR projects and compensation processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in an HR Specialist or HR Generalist role, preferably international.
• Solid knowledge of Polish employment law and HR best practices.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with stakeholders at different levels.
• Analytical mindset and experience with HR data and reporting.
• Fluent English (C1) and a related Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Manage the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding with day-to-day HR support.
• Partner with managers on employee relations, performance management, promotions and compensation.
• Maintain accurate HR records ensuring compliance with Polish law and internal policies.
• Support learning initiatives, HR projects and process improvements.

Contract: Fixed-term employment contract

We're looking for an experienced and people-oriented HR Specialist to join our HR team in Wrocław. In this role, you'll support employees and managers throughout the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, while providing day-to-day HR guidance and ensuring compliance with local employment law and internal policies. You'll work closely with managers and colleagues across HR, Payroll, Finance and other teams, helping to solve people-related matters and improve the employee experience. The role also offers the opportunity to contribute to HR projects, performance and compensation processes, and initiatives that improve the way we work. We're looking for someone who combines solid HR expertise with a practical, collaborative and service-oriented approach.

Role & Responsibilities

Job Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in an HR Specialist, HR Generalist or similar HR role, preferably in an international organization.
• Solid knowledge of Polish employment law and HR best practices, with experience handling employee relations topics.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work confidently with stakeholders at different levels.
• Analytical mindset and good working knowledge of Excel and HR systems.
• Fluent English (C1) and a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
