Job summary

Strada is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage the end-to-end payroll lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing across the client base.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years relevant experience administering Payroll or Health & Welfare/Benefits in HR Outsourcing or similar setting.
• Flexibility to support a global and fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform all life-cycle payroll transactions to ensure accurate, timely processing.
• Support and manage payroll tasks using client-specific standards and ticket systems.
• Monitor ticket queues and meet defined timelines.
• Interpret payslips and payroll calendars and respond to payroll inquiries.
• Produce payroll reports and validate data for accuracy.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and participate in projects as needed.

Overall objective of the Role Performs all life-cycle payroll transactions and activities to ensure the processing of an accurate and timely payroll. Displays decision-making skills that support company and payroll policies.

Key responsibilities

• Support and manage payroll tasks using the appropriate ticket and payroll systems applying the defined standards and client specific requirements
• Monitor and manage ticket queues using the appropriate tools to ensure tickets are handled per the defined timelines and do not exceed expected thresholds
• Ability to utilize the hrX suite of tools as it relates to payroll processing and associated activities
• Be able to understand and interpret a payslip
• Be able to understand and follow the payroll calendar
• Identify deviations from the standard scope of service and act accordingly including the identification and support of change request opportunities
• Recognize and deal appropriately with sensitive and confidential information
• Produce and understand basic standard and client specific payroll reports
• Review and validate data for accuracy
• Answer basic payroll questions and requests through communication channels agreed for the client (phone, e-mail, ticket)
• Participates in projects and activites as needed and assigned

Required Experience

• Knowledge of MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Advanced Dutch & English skills (minimum B2)
• 1-2 years relevant experience administering Payroll or Health & Welfare/Benefits in an HR Consulting, HR Outsourcing or other corporate environment
• Flexibility to support a global and fast paced environment
• Attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Self-motivated and a willingness to learn HRIS knowledge
