Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY SERVICES SP. Z O.O. in Krakow, Poland, is seeking an HR Specialist to support our HR community, managers and employees across several European countries.

You will handle a broad range of activities across the Employee Life Cycle, onboarding, payroll, and data integrity, working independently on medium-complex HR processes. We expect at least 2 years of HR experience in international environments, strong Excel skills, and fluency in business English.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional HR experience in international environments.
• Practical knowledge of HR processes and employee data management.
• Proactive, well organized, and able to work independently while managing priorities.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• MS Excel proficiency; experience with Workday or SAP is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver HR service support to the HR community, managers and employees across several European countries.
• Manage employment documentation and employee data throughout the lifecycle, from hire to retire.
• Respond to inquiries on onboarding, changes, absence, salary and other HR topics.
• Ensure HR systems and databases are up to date with current information.
• Maintain high data quality to support payroll processing.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and support implementation.
• Coordinate with stakeholders on assigned HR topics and local projects.
• Participate in regional and global HR projects and initiatives.
• Communicate HR policies and process information clearly to stakeholders.
• Provide on-demand reports and support HR data analysis.
• Update and improve standard operating procedures and work instructions.
