Job summary

EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) in Łódź seeks an HR Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle activities, delivering a high-quality employee and manager experience. The role involves executing lifecycle transactions, handling inquiries, and maintaining records across HR systems.

Senior level responsibilities include supporting complex cases, interpreting non-standard scenarios, coordinating with stakeholders, and mentoring less experienced team members on processes

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years in HR Operations, HR Shared Services or a generalist HR role.
• Experience supporting employee lifecycle processes (hires, changes, transfers, leaves, exits).
• Experience with HR systems and case management platforms such as Workday, ServiceNow, SAP, SuccessFactors or similar tools.
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle inquiries professionally and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Execute employee lifecycle transactions with accuracy and timely HR system updates (hires, changes, leaves, transfers, exits).
• Handle employee and manager queries related to HR processes, policies and systems, resolving issues or escalating as needed.
• Maintain and update employee records across HR systems and case management tools.
• Maintain HR documentation, templates, knowledge articles and case records in line with process, compliance and audit requirements.
• Identify recurring issues and support improvements to HR processes and self-service content.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across HR and the business to ensure efficient service delivery.

Location: Łódź - 2 days in office / 3 days remote

The opportunity

As an HR Generalist, you will support day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle activities, ensuring a high-quality employee and manager experience.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Executing employee lifecycle transactions, including hires, job changes, leaves of absence, transfers and exits, ensuring accuracy and timely updates in HR systems.
• Handling employee and manager queries related to HR processes, policies and systems, resolving issues independently or escalating as appropriate.
• Working with HR systems and case management tools such as Workday, ServiceNow, SAP, SuccessFactors or similar platforms to maintain and update employee records.
• Maintaining HR documentation, templates, knowledge articles and case records in line with process, compliance and audit requirements.
• Identifying recurring issues and supporting continuous improvements to HR processes, employee self-service content and service quality.
• Collaborating with stakeholders across HR and the business to ensure efficient service delivery.

At Senior level, you will also support more complex employee cases, interpret non-standard scenarios, coordinate with stakeholders across functions and provide guidance to less experienced team members on processes, systems and case handling.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 2-4+ years of experience in HR Operations, HR Shared Services or a generalist HR role
• Experience supporting employee lifecycle processes, including hires, job changes, transfers, leaves and exits
• Experience working with HR systems and case management platforms such as Workday, ServiceNow, SAP, SuccessFactors or similar tools
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage employee and manager inquiries in a professional and customer-focused manner

Ideally, you'll also have

• Experience working in a global organization or shared services environment.
• Knowledge of HR policies, compliance requirements and HR service delivery practices.
• Experience contributing to process improvement, knowledge management or employee self-service initiatives.
