Job summary

EY GDS Poland is seeking a People Solutions Specialist to resolve complex HR matters and drive scalable HR service delivery in a global shared services environment. The role involves ownership of HR operations, system mastery of Workday, ServiceNow, SAP and SuccessFactors, and guidance to employees and managers.

The position offers hybrid work with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote, and opportunities to lead process improvements and governance across teams.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5-7 years of experience in HR Operations, HR Shared Services or a related HR function.
• Experience managing complex employee lifecycle cases.
• Hands-on experience with HR platforms such as Workday, ServiceNow, SAP, SuccessFactors.

Responsibilities

• Own and resolve complex HR operations and employee lifecycle cases with compliant resolution.
• Act as a process and system expert for HR platforms like Workday, ServiceNow, SAP and SuccessFactors.
• Support employees, managers and stakeholders by guiding HR processes, policies and systems.
• Create and maintain process documentation and knowledge articles.
• Identify recurring issues and drive process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure consistency and scalability of HR service delivery.
• Coach less experienced team members in handling complex or escalated cases.

The opportunity

As a People Solutions Specialist, you will play a key role in resolving complex HR matters, driving operational excellence and improving the consistency and scalability of HR service delivery in a global shared services environment.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Owning and resolving complex HR operations and employee lifecycle cases, ensuring timely and compliant resolution.
• Acting as a process and system expert for HR platforms such as Workday, ServiceNow, SAP, SuccessFactors and related tools.
• Supporting employees, managers and stakeholders by providing guidance on HR processes, policies and systems.
• Creating and maintaining process documentation, knowledge articles and reusable guidance materials to support standardization and operational excellence.
• Identifying recurring issues and driving improvements to processes, automation opportunities and employee service experiences.
• Collaborating across teams to ensure consistency, quality and scalability of HR service delivery.
• Coaching and guiding less experienced team members in handling recurring, complex or escalated cases.

Depending on experience level, the role may also involve greater ownership of stakeholder management, process governance and service improvement initiatives.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Approximately 5-7 years of experience in HR Operations, HR Shared Services, Employee Services or a related HR function.
• Strong experience managing complex employee lifecycle cases and HR operational processes.
• Hands-on experience with HR systems such as Workday, ServiceNow, SAP, SuccessFactors or similar platforms.
• Proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders, resolve issues independently and drive service excellence.

Ideally, you'll also have

• Experience supporting process improvement, automation or operational transformation initiatives.
• Experience documenting and standardizing HR processes, knowledge management content and service procedures.
• German-language skills to support German-speaking employees, managers and stakeholders.
