Job summary

AECOM in Warsaw is recruiting an Engineer - Highways (Starszy Asystent(-tka) Projektanta Drogowego) with experience in roadway design to join our Linear Infrastructures team. We work on projects from feasibility to detailed design, across a diverse client base.

You will contribute to design tasks, CAD documentation, and coordination within a multidisciplinary team, using MicroStation/AutoCAD and other design tools. Strong English is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of highway designs with 4+ years.
• Experience on highways or railway design and desire to develop in this field.
• Experience in geometrical design with listed software.

Responsibilities

• Works on small projects or portions of larger highway projects under supervision.
• Performs day-to-day design tasks under designer supervision.
• Prepares and updates 2D/3D drawings and CAD documentation.
• Uses CAD software to solve basic engineering problems and develops skills.
• Coordinates and checks drawings before submission.
• Assists in preparing design documents and deliverables.
• Collects and organises design data and references.
• Performs self-checks of drawings prior to review.
• Coordinates drafting tasks with team members under guidance.
• Works to project scope, schedule, and quality requirements.
