Maryland Care Management, Inc. (MCMI) seeks an outreach specialist to support HEDIS initiatives by educating members and providers, scheduling appointments, and tracking care gaps.

The role involves coordinating with clinics and field visits across Maryland to ensure adherence to care guidelines. Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least 3 years in healthcare marketing or outreach, plus experience with HEDIS and call centers.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience applying HEDIS criteria and working in a call center.

Responsibilities

• Integral part of the HEDIS team delivering member and provider education on HEDIS care gaps.
• Assist provider sites with member scheduling and education related to coding guidelines for HEDIS.
• Schedule and track HEDIS-specific specialty clinics.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls to assist members with appointments and education on HEDIS initiatives.
• Collaborate with the HEDIS team to deliver outreach initiatives to close care gaps.
• Distribute educational information to members and providers via mailings, social media, and automated calls.
• Conduct HEDIS provider chart request calls and mailings.
• Maintain an incentive database to track member compliance.
• Travel 10-25% throughout Maryland for outreach activities.
• Record and document all member/provider outreach activity.
