Job summary

Exerizon is seeking a Solution Architect (mid or senior) who understands healthcare from both clinical and commercial sides. You will design end-to-end architectures for healthcare providers and insurers, spanning patient journeys, medical records, billing, CRM, and analytics, with deployment guidance on Azure or other hyperscalers.

The role requires 5+ years in solution architecture (8+ for senior) and 2+ years in healthcare, with fluency in Polish and English.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in solution architecture or senior engineering roles with end-to-end design responsibility for production systems.
• 2+ years in healthcare, on the provider or payer side, with understanding of clinical and commercial processes.
• Solid architecture toolkit: integration patterns (REST / GraphQL APIs, event-driven, file transfer, integration engines), data modelling, identity/access (OAuth2 / OIDC).
• Cloud architecture at the solution level on Azure or other hyperscaler: compute, networking, data services, data residency, cost.
• Experience designing for GDPR health data, consent and audit; familiarity with Polish medical records law and EHDS direction.
• Structured vendor and option evaluation: define criteria before looking at products and verify claims against primary sources.
• Strong written and spoken communication: architecture docs, executive summaries, defense under review.
• Fluent in Polish and English.
• Nice to have: HL7/FHIR, SNOMED, LOINC, e-health ecosystem familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solution architectures for healthcare clients across clinical and business domains.
• Translate business and clinical needs into architecture and roadmaps for medical directors and CFOs.
• Own solution design across the stack: integration patterns, data ownership, identity and access, and non-functional requirements.
• Design for regulation and clinical safety including GDPR health data and MDR considerations.
• Build on Azure or other hyperscalers and deliver deployment architecture, not only the logical design.
• Conduct vendor evaluations and defend recommendations with primary-source evidence.
• Produce architecture deliverables (C4 views, ArchiMate, decision records, capacity and cost models).
• Use AI tooling responsibly to assist research, mapping, and documentation with validation.
• Collaborate with CIOs, CMIOs, business owners, clinical, data, security and legal teams; guide engineering teams.
• Contribute to Exerizon's healthcare practice with reusable assets and reference architectures.
