Job summary

Air Liquide Engineering & Construction in Kraków seeks Head of Piping Engineering to lead a team of piping engineers, designers and lead engineers, ensuring successful project execution across EPC projects.

You will report to the Engineering Director, drive staffing, develop competencies, coordinate interfaces with other disciplines, and manage the piping budget to deliver safe, efficient solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in related Engineering field.
• Extensive experience in Piping Engineering within the oil & gas, chemical, or energy sectors.
• Proven knowledge of project execution in the EPC Industry.
• Several years of experience in project management and/or line management.
• Good understanding of interrelations between the different Engineering Disciplines.
• Demonstrable skills in developing others and managing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead piping engineers, designers, and lead engineers; ensure successful project execution.
• Plan staffing and allocate personnel based on competence and project needs.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and manage budget for the piping department.
• Recruitment and know-how buildup in the piping discipline; develop team capabilities.
