Job summary

Air Liquide Engineering & Construction in Kraków seeks a Civil & Structural Lead Engineer to guide a multi-disciplinary team on industrial and energy projects. You will supervise internal and external engineers, ensure contract‑compliant design quality, and forecast resources, costs, and milestones.

Strong English skills are essential; a professional license plus exposure to Robot/Tekla/Aveva/SmartPlant is a plus. Hybrid work model with a modern office environment in Kraków.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil and structural engineering within an industrial environment.
• Hands-on drafting/design experience incl. calculations/drawings for foundations, buildings and structural steel.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and related software is essential.
• Professional license; knowledge of Autodesk Robot, Tekla, Aveva or SmartPlant is a plus.
• Basic geotechnical knowledge and ability to interpret soil reports.
• Onshore oil and gas civil/structural design experience is advantageous.
• Very good written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of civil and structural engineers in-house.
• Coordinate 3rd party civil/structural engineers outside AL premises.
• Ensure quality of engineering documents and material supply per contract.
• Provide forecasts on man-hours, quantities, costs, milestones and freezing dates.
• Manage deviations and overall project performance.
