Job summary

Zyte is seeking a Head of IT to lead the internal technology function into the AI era. You will own the systems the company runs on, lead IT teams, and drive automation and AI-enabled workflows across the business.

This is a remote-first role with global scope and a strong focus on security, cost governance, and scalable internal platforms. You will partner with Security, Legal, and AI Enablement to shape strategy, manage budgets, and deliver an engineering-led IT function that powers Zyte's

Qualifications

• Senior IT leader with 10+ years of experience in engineering or internal platforms.
• Proven track record in managing IT, business systems, and automation at scale.
• Experience delivering AI tooling and governance across an organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT organisation: strategy, roadmap, budget, vendor landscape for internal IT.
• Grow IT Support and IT Tooling & Automation teams; set standards and escalation.
• Run IT as a product with SLIs/SLOs; publish releases and prioritize by impact.
• Own business app landscape: CRM, finance, HR, SIEM, and collaboration tools.
• Design reliable, API-driven workflows and data synchronization across platforms.
• Champion code-first automation: scripts, services, and agentic workflows.
• Lead internal AI tooling adoption: portfolio ownership, procurement, governance.
• Define guardrails with Security and Legal; measure adoption and cost.
