Job summary

Moss is hiring a Head of Engineering in Warsaw to lead engineering for a product tribe, overseeing 15–20 engineers with tech leads in each squad. You will align roadmaps with Product and Design, while owning hiring, performance, and delivery pace.

A flat structure expects strong architectural judgement and hands-on contribution when needed. You’ll operate in a fast-paced FinTech environment, reporting to the CTO within a tribe leadership trio.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6+ years in engineering management, with a track record of managing engineers directly.
• Senior engineering experience with design judgement and architecture awareness.
• Ability to lead in a flat, tribe/squad organization with clear, measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own tribe delivery and velocity, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Hire, develop, and performance-manage engineers within your squad and tribe.
• Provide architectural judgement and feasibility input across squads and leaders.
• Collaborate with Product and Design leads to align roadmaps and scope.
• Maintain decisive leadership, transparency, and ownership of delivery rhythm.
