Job summary

Calan, a leading distributor of heavy construction equipment in Poland, is seeking a Head of Controlling to lead the finance function across the group. You will manage a 6-person team, oversee monthly reporting, closing processes, forecasts and budgeting.

The role requires higher education in finance, 5 years in controlling, and strong Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI skills, plus fluent English. You will partner with management and auditors, drive process improvements and model profitability of

Head of Controlling

Scope of responsibilities

• Responsibility for monthly reporting to the group and the month-end closing process.
• Managing a 6-person team.
• Preparing short- and long-term forecasts and the budget.
• Analyzing and controlling results and deviations from the budget in cooperation with the business.
• Preparing regular reports and presentations for the Management Board and the management team.
• Optimization of financial processes.
• Proactive search for solutions to emerging business needs.
• Modeling and evaluating the profitability of investment projects.
• Cooperation with internal and external audit.

Requirements

• Higher education in finance.
• 5 years of experience in controlling, including 2 years of experience in a team leadership role.
• Proficiency in English, spoken and written.
• Excellent command of Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI.
• Highly developed analytical skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a team.
