Job summary

Harvey Nash Poland seeks an experienced Head of Application Delivery to lead the technology delivery function for critical applications in a sophisticated financial services environment.

This senior leadership role combines application management, technology delivery, people leadership and business partnership to develop and evolve key applications, from understanding needs to delivery and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in application development, management or a related technology discipline.
• Proven experience leading technology teams and delivering complex enterprise-grade applications.
• Strong understanding of financial technology and processes.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end delivery and evolution of business-critical applications.
• Lead application development initiatives, ensuring effective planning, execution and delivery.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements, define priorities and shape technology solutions.
• Oversee solution design, software development, testing, release and production support across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Lead and develop a team of Application Developers, providing direction and mentorship.
• Ensure applications deliver high standards of reliability, performance, resilience and availability.
• Build strong relationships with internal technology teams, external suppliers and strategic partners.
• Translate complex business requirements into clear technical specifications and actionable delivery plans.
• Own delivery roadmaps, sprint planning, estimates, milestones and stakeholder communications.
• Identify and implement Generative AI opportunities within the technology landscape.
