Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end delivery and evolution of business-critical applications.
• Lead application development initiatives, ensuring effective planning, execution and delivery.

• Oversee solution design, software development, testing, release and production support across cloud and on-premises environments.

We are looking for an experienced Head of Application Delivery to lead the technology delivery function supporting critical applications within a sophisticated financial services environment.

This is a senior leadership position combining application management, technology delivery, people leadership and close partnership with the business. You will be responsible for the development and evolution of key applications — from understanding business needs and defining solutions through software delivery, implementation and ongoing support.

The role involves close cooperation with senior stakeholders across trading, risk, funding and operations, ensuring that technology solutions effectively support complex financial processes and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end delivery and evolution of business-critical applications.
• Lead application development initiatives, ensuring effective planning, execution and delivery.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements, define priorities and shape technology solutions.

What you'll bring

• 10+ years of experience in application development, application management or a related technology discipline.
• Proven experience leading technology teams and/or delivering complex, enterprise-level applications.
• Strong understanding of financial technology and processes, particularly:
• Liquidity Management
• Funding Optimization
• Strong knowledge of C#/.NET and modern software engineering and deployment practices.
• Experience working within Agile and DevOps environments, including tools such as Jira.
• Understanding of financial markets and concepts including Margin, Cost Attribution and Prime Brokerage.
• Experience partnering with senior stakeholders from business, trading and investment functions.
• Ability to translate business challenges into well-defined technical requirements and structured delivery plans.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management and analytical skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics or a related field.
