Job summary

1inch is seeking an accomplished leader to steer the DevOps and platform engineering function, evolving it toward AI-driven autonomous operations. You’ll oversee cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, and developer tooling, defining a strategy for reliability, scalability and security.

Collaboration with product and security is core. You will mentor teams, implement automation-first practices, and drive self-healing capabilities across provisioning, deployment and incident

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE in cloud environments.
• 5+ years of experience leading platform or DevOps teams with AI practices.
• Hands-on with Cursor Agent, Cursor CLI and Cloud Agents for infrastructure automation.
• Experience using Cursor AI with Terraform, Kubernetes manifests and policy-as-code.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the DevOps and platform engineering strategy aligned with priorities.
• Lead, mentor and grow the team through hiring and performance management.
• Establish ownership, standards, processes and governance for reliability and security.
• Own cloud-native infrastructure, Kubernetes, networking, storage and services.
• Apply IaC, policy-as-code, automation-first principles and cost optimisation.
• Embed Cursor AI across provisioning, CI/CD, observability and troubleshooting.
• Build self-healing mechanisms with verification and rollback capabilities.
• Provide self-service infrastructure and AI-assisted workflows for developers.
• Define reliability metrics (SLIs/SLOs) and manage security controls.
• Collaborate with Product, Security, Compliance and IT on platform guardrails.
