Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a Lab Engineer to build and operate the hardware-validation environment for a security-focused AMD project in Gdańsk. You will automate testing, collect CPU telemetry, and label datasets to support ML and platform validation efforts, working closely with ML, systems, and software engineers.

On-site presence is required to manage dedicated lab systems. The role requires 4+ years in hardware validation and hands-on experience with x86-64 microarchitecture, telemetry collection,

Qualifications

• 4+ years in hardware validation or related role.
• Understanding of x86-64 microarchitecture and hardware performance-monitoring.
• Experience collecting and validating hardware telemetry data.
• Strong Python and/or C/C++ skills with test automation experience.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization, lab imaging, and isolated environments.
• Windows system administration in validation labs.
• Ability to define lab procedures, data handling, and reproduce tests.
• Willingness to work on-site in Gdańsk and manage a physical lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Configure, operate, and maintain AMD PRO lab systems and isolated environments.
• Develop automated test harnesses to collect CPU telemetry and PMC data.
• Establish repeatable imaging, configuration, and clean-state procedures.
• Instrument lab systems to validate telemetry against expected behavior.
• Prepare labeled telemetry datasets for ML engineering.
• Execute functional and performance qualification tests across AMD platforms.
• Maintain lab SOPs, access controls, and asset records.
• Investigate hardware, firmware, and telemetry anomalies with evidence.
