Job summary

Fresha, the leading AI-powered operating system for the beauty and wellness industry, seeks a hands-on Team Lead (Engineering) in Warsaw. You will own your team's technical direction, planning and delivery, while mentoring engineers and collaborating with Product Manager and Staff Engineers.

You will lead small teams (2–5 engineers), write code, shape architecture, and ensure reliable delivery and on-call readiness. The role combines technical impact with people leadership in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Hands-on technical leader who writes code and reviews design discussions.
• Led a team formally or as a senior engineer with followership.
• Delivery-focused, ships reliably and notices plan slips early.
• Strong system design and architecture experience across languages.
• Identifies bottlenecks, fixes process slowdowns, and drives improvements.
• Leads by example with ownership, quality and proactiveness.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and delivery across your team's services.
• Mentor engineers, set direction, and ensure reliable estimates and on-call readiness.
• Manage performance, hiring, onboarding, and team health.
• Collaborate with Product Manager and Staff Engineers on architecture.
• Own the area’s scaling and reliability, balancing short-term delivery with long-term quality.
